What country are you in? I’m genuinely tempted to buy it from you if you’re just going to return it.

Because it is all original.

You would be the person to know -- but the blotchiness and uneven lines on the dial don't seem correct?

Sp. the 9-o-clock markers and the big triangle having a rounded tip?

Under a UV light after exposure for 4-5 seconds, the bezel lights up for maybe 3-4 seconds, while the dial stays lit for 30+ seconds.

Tritium of that thickness will stay lightly illuminated for a minute of so. My -65 Speedmaster, with much thinner plots does the same.

So, posting pictures of the movement (which is incredibly clean) and the caseback, for comparisons sake (regardless of the lume, I believe the watch is 100% real).

@whats_shakin
Your comparison here is inaccurate.
You are comparing the case shapes of two 165.024 from 1967. to a 166024 from late 1969.
(Both of them mine by the way. These are images from my original post. And both watches are 100% unpolished).

Two different references, two different case shapes.

You should be comparing the watch to this 166024

As you can see, the serial numbers are only one digit apart!

Not that I know of. I believe OP's caseback is fake, if not the whole case.
Yep. The case on that watch is El Fako. Sorry. 🙁
Worry not, young Jedi. You will learn. This watch is not worth your money. If you want one, we can help.
Because experience. You believe what you want, not like I care. Shared my opinion, and I am not going to argue with you or anyone else because I am not getting paid to argue. 😀

@SkunkPrince How would you like your crow cooked kind sir?

At $9kUSD, I still can't wait to see the movement.

I doubt I would have dropped 9 Large without a few pictures. But........I always wear a belt with my suspenders and have a parachute on my back.

Nice movement, congratulations

Well… it’s not the first time he is a bit hasty with his “experience”.

Yeah, I get excited to share and comment on things I ought not to. It's a thing and I'm trying not to but you know how it goes... "ME! ME! PICK ME!"

Best thread in the vintage section in a long time. Learned a lot about vintage Seamasters.

Ndgal knows what he's talking about.
