It'll show.
I was thinking of you (whom I of course have much faith in) what do I do if it shows up? I can’t consider it “free” as the seller reimbursed me I’ll need to contact him and make it right. But on the phone fedex said something strange, they stated “it was insured and we would both be reimbursed. Whomever I spoke to must have made an error as I don’t believe fedex insurance works like that.

If it doesn't show up, let me know. I have a 6217-7000 Olympic year world-time gray dial I could probably let go. I wasn't really planning to sell it, but you seem so sad. 🙁

I'd suspect your watch-to-be suffered an untimely demise of some sort (truck crashed, was stolen, burned, package fell out the back, etc) because once an insurance claim is opened, carriers usually leave no stone on earth unturned to a avoid paying out

Most packages eventually show up, even if they had a pause in progress for a while.

luckily i never have experienced it. However i find particularlt difficult setting the rules for insurencing watches over 1k. the site seems clear, however calling the client service you receive different info (scaring). i think is easier with companies, for privates is a mess! even if you documented the shipping and the payment.

It accidentally came to our house. We will be listing it for $99 plus others soon 😁
If you have a Hamilton HTC diver chrono for $99, I’ll take the other shit in the box too.

So close.
I don’t share the same optimism of those in this thread saying “it’ll show”. If this were USPS, then I would say yes, their incompetence is well known - I had a package show up a year after a claim had been settled- literally opened my door and saw a box there and didn’t know what it was.
But when FedEx, UPS or DHL lose
a package- it’s gone.

Somewhat related over on Rolexforums. FedEx driver apparently delivered watch to the wrong house but claims it delivered to the correct one (even though signatures don’t match). Local police agree it’s “stolen”. ParcelPro won’t pay insurance and now seller is out big bucks on a 1675.
