From what I can tell this 165.027 one on Reddit has some tells of being less than fully legit. Bezel has the wrong number of teeth, despite them "having it shipped from across the world after searching for it for months", the "fully serviced" 552 movement has absolutely atrocious looking wheels, the spacing on T Swiss Made T looks wrong, and the back has a pointed A in Waterproof.

Thoughts?

Text on the dial looks too grey in at least one of the photos...

Another fake Omega 120 on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/115408401296

This one seems extra bad because someone has taken the time to artificially age the dial and the case - all sorts of case back scratches, lume that is made to look dirty, etc. This one is really a load of BS as it is purposefully made to deceive.

Thank you to @uwsearch. This post saved me from a suspected fake a number of months ago on Catawiki. I naively thought these watches were too ‘niche’ to fake, how wrong was I?

So with all the fakes out there, I'm contemplating not even trying to look anymore for this watch, its been a year of looking and still cant seem to find the right one that is real. Where in the southeast is a good place to look or buy these vintage omega watches? Thanks!

Southeast as in Brighton? I wouldn’t put too much weight on various shops in the Lanes etc for a vintage piece.

Id keep a watch out on this forum. Several good examples have sold in the last year
