Absolutely. Here is what happened before and during the first goal. Everyone had to notice that. I hate it so much.

They have a really shot now... Though, for the fairy tale, I must root for Denmark for the semis ;-)

Its up to England now, If they don't reach the finals it will be an underachievement in the eyes of the English supporters.

In Ireland we support two national teams, the Republic of Ireland and anyone playing against England. Declan Rice born to Irish parents in England is a way for the Irish to support England, " he is really Irish you know, couldn't get a game for the Republic so declared for England, we are doing this for his Ma and Da" Slainte 😀.

I personally support the national team with the most Chelsea players in it and the majority of the Chelsea squad have had a run out in this tournament.

Haha... Same here it seems but different countries... National team then anything but the French 😀)
So, our tournament is already a success lol

Absolutely splendid England performance, topped off nicely with a goal from the Liverpool club captain!!

I've always liked Denmark and they've done brilliantly since the scary Eriksen incident, but sorry Danes, the semis is your last game! Hehe!

Let's just hope that the refs watch out for and catch any pathetic, cheating dives (yes, looking at you Italy!) in the last 3/4 games!!

Spectacular pairing! My first time seeing a mare nostrum on this forum.

While it's not a source of pride to see a higher concentration of actors on the Italian national team than out here in LA, it's sadly a part of the game.

Rooting for an England Italy tournament finale at Wembley!

With these teams, and England Italy final will be pretty epic. Wouldn’t be as great a story without Denmark, but I think in football terms it would be the best match up.

Hell of a tournament.

I think they’ll beat Denmark. After that, who knows but they haven’t played anyone of much note yet (Germany were very poor)

I suspect the Spanish and the Italians will fancy themselves whoever gets through, but home advantage and a partisan crown will make a big difference. It will be a great weekend if they can get past Wednesday!

Very true! When I watch Man City I'm always screaming at England's current joint top scorer for doing exactly that and now I'm screaming at Sturridge to net a goal! Lol. Either way, I'm exciting for the next three games!!

By the way, where's all the Seamaster Soccer Timers in this post? I haven't seen a single one! 🙁

Atletico vs Liverpool in the Champions League round of 16 still haunt my memory. That 1st leg in Madrid still ranks high as textbook exhibits for mastery in applied dark arts. Such dirty play from Simeone's side, trying to get Sadio Mane red-carded in the first leg. Even Klopp got carded!

Then when the Reds finally got mentally prepped to defend against the underhanded tactics and time wasting in the return leg, their own goalkeeper gifts a goal to the Spanish visitors 🤦

Well, England are through.
Not a terrible performance by England but I don’t think an own goal and a non-penalty will be good enough to beat the Azzurri
