End link scratch removal.

Hi all.
Many years ago before I discovered the correct tool for removing spring bars, I scratched my Speedmaster end links quite badly when I was experimenting with straps.
It's nothing anyone but me would know about, and I don't know why it should suddenly bother me now, but I wondered if there is a method of polishing out these fine scratches bearing in mind they have a brushed finish.
Or maybe you have a pair of 849 links lying around that you'd consider selling.
Many thanks.

I'm guessing that it's underneath that you've scratched.
So, if your end links have a brushed finish, then sand paper should do the trick.

Oh yeah, a nice 40-60 grit sandpaper and some elbow grease would rub those fine scratches right out 馃憤
