Rest In Peace. You were an early crush of mine.
I remember watching The Avengers as a kid, one of my favorite shows. Bond fans will remember her as Tracy di Vicenzo in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", the only woman to have married James Bond. Game of Throne fans will remember her role as Lady Tyrell who had some of the best lines in the series. A sexy and elegant lady, a wonderful actress... the stars in heaven await.
Supposedly somewhat ironically her and George Lazenby, in his only portrayal of Bond, actually got along terribly (to the point some insist one, can't remember her or him, ate a clove of raw garlic before a love scene) even though their characters end up married - think they patched it up later when he'd retired from acting and she had moved back towards television work. Great actress though - will be missed.

I saw her on the stage as Medea, as whom she kills her two sons to spite her husband. Such was the effect of the performance that no-one said a word as the audience went out. Only other time I've know that happen was One flew over the cuckoo's nest when it first came out.
Now where did I put my Avengers box sets?

Oh, please. Emma, without question and probably in short order.
