My wife has been hinting at a Wolf type winder Xmas gift for me even though I've mentioned I am not down with the chronic Spin-Spin, laundromat front loading washer, type thing. She then mentioned something to the effect of, "Okay, what's available out there that doesn't make watches go all spinny?"

Along with a recent post here at OF about watch winders, I thought - "good reason for a new thread"...

so what is out there for a simple storage/display solution, anywhere here have thoughts?

Thank you!
Which one do you use, and what do you like about it?

You can buy a watch storage box or a watch roll. A watch roll is great because it is easy to travel with. You can get different sizes depending on how many watches you want to take.

What is your budget?

Well being that it'll end up being a gift from The Wife I would guess $200 max (seeing that she's still pissed at me about purchasing my Railmaster '57 a couple weeks ago without her previously written consent).

I've bought various watch boxes over the years from Amazon. Do a search for 'Caddy Bay' watch box, lots of options available for less than $100. Reasonable quality for the price paid and they look good.
