Hi,

i want to build a watchbox or watchcollectionbox out of the 'new' big black Speedmaster box the
Speedmaster Pro comes with ... I want to return the most of the inner deployment and set a kind
of regular matrix for 10 Speedies.

That's the project:



I do need your advice/help by getting nice watch pads to be inserted. The matrix is not the problem
do be done by myself, but i want to buy nice watchpads - maybe black and for sure soft/tender...
Is there a chance to get the original ones from Omega? I think i have to go to supplier? Anny advice?

I am also interested. I've done lazy searches in the past and never found nice pads sold separately without a box.

well what can i say? Mission accomplished

I ordered a more or less standard watchbox for 12 watches, planing to cut the Matrix to the needed size and use 10 of the 12 cushions for manufacture my own individual watchbox in the speedy box... after pulling out the Matrix from the Standard box and compare it with the speedy box i was surprised how good it fits - extremly good - and for 12 watches instead of planed 10 *how knows what the future brings up*
I decided to bring in the Matrix for all 12 watches and the only Thing i had to adjust was the thicknes of the bottom to end with the matrix at the same level with the box and fill in some black alcantara at the end to Close the gap in the second Diameter

The final result of the Speedmaster Watchbox Project looks fantastic - I want one!

I'm surprised Omega hasn't created something similar for the 60th Anniversary with all of the attention towards the watch collecting community via #SpeedyTuesday and marketing the multitude of Speedmasters you could fill it with
