Hi Forum Members

I am thinking of buying a case to keep my watches in, with enough room for around 10 watches. I'm based in the UK and the ones I have seen on the web or EBay are either really expensive £300+ or are cheap and don't do the watches justice.

Any advice or tasteful suggestions would be very much appreciated (really like the classy cases in Hodinkee's Talking Watches with Morgan King but I don't know what they are). Does anyone on this Forum?

These are quite nice. I've got a couple. But if you buy from them, make sure you get the one around $75 USD ( for the 20 watch box). Not the one around $40. It's OK but a far cry from the pricier one. They come in a few finishes. The one I have is Rosewood.

Otherwise Amazon.com in the US has a bunch under $50

 

I love my wolf Windsor case with orange inserts. I'd get one of those at $100

That's a cool way to organize straps... I need to figure out my mess of straps before I can't open/close the drawer on my box

I was looking at cheaper cases, but I think the Bulang & Sons / JPM case is much better looking and higher quality than the cheapo boxes

i use a Pelican case (model 1200 for 6 watches) with foam inside that i cut to shape. I like the fact that the box is waterproof and shockproof when i carry it with me.

 

Personally I now have a safe so I don't care what the case looks like. Keeping a watch case out in the open seems like asking for trouble.
