This is the history of Reverso.
From 1931-33 they used Tavannes movement.
Only in 1933 LeCoultre & Cie developed its in-house movement cal.11’’’U and 11’’’UO (small seconds)

I have such Cyma watch - in my view this is a packetwatch that was transformed into a wristwatch maybe in the 40s or 50s? Any help on assessing its age would be great. This is a watch I inherited after my uncle passed away. I got it serviced as it was in a pretty rough condition - mechanizm blocked, shattered glass, yellowish stains on the dial etc. The watchmaker brought it back to life. I am thinkning that the image of the plane was also added as a customization many years ago.

I got this Cyma recently, very pretty and a 459 movement. Gold bezel and top of the lugs, rest is SS.
Caseback says ‘Star’. Since I got this in Japan I wonder if this was cased by Citizen? Fonts look like that.
Or could this be for the US market originally and made by that case manufacturer who did Longines? (I think that was also Star, unless my memory fails me.)

My only Cyma. Good looking watch and at 37mm has nice presence too. Chrome plated case but based on my limited observations the plating on Cyma watches usually holds up well.

586K movement certainly has the looks and it fills up the case nicely.

I, personally, have never seen a US Star watch case marked on the outside like that.

I jumped at bidding for this gilt dial when it came up on ebay but was I right to do so? It looks original to me and the condition is great but I haven't seen many like it. Opinions gratefully received.

Hi Everyone, I am interested in a Cyma pocket watch but cannot date it based on the pictures or serial number. It has a 777 caliber. Does anyone have any information on this caliber? Thank you!
