Redial, and because there are so many better Cosmics around, best to pass until you encounter an all-original example.

PS I notice that my four essays on movements have been lifted from my blog on that website http://naligazone.com/index.php/articles/omega
without ever having asked me for my assent. The claim copyright on my introduction on the front page.

They have also lifted en-bloc the old Omega database.

Desmond, I am not well versed in Cosmics, would you explain why this is a redial? I struggle to find any tells - apart from the red seconds hand it looks good to me.

The most obvious departure from the norm is that the interrupted crosshair goes through the word Cosmic and touches the S. The crosshair is not nearly as fine as I've seen in originals. There is some imbalance at three and nine between the applied markers and printed indices. That said there are a few black dials like this one where the printing is not nearly as fine as original black ones I've seen over the years, and I'm not sure if they're service dials or the work of one particularly reasonable refinisher.

Ive also seen various crosshair dials, they vary between the crosshair actually going through the text or stopping short above then continuing on underneath the text..would be nice to see a genuine original version..unless they do just differ from model to model...

I'm pretty sure that the crosshairs are okay. I have seen that variation a number of times and IMO there are (at least...) three different ways crosshairs were done on Cosmics.

On OF alone, I could easily find two variations of the crosshair line.

I really just think it is a dial variation. Cosmics and other front loaders are, I'd say, pretty well known for often having dials that are well kept due to better than average protection against moisture ingress. So why such a high number of dials should had been replaced during service is a mystery to me.
