·They will not fit on a 3861 watch...just so you know...
Not sure an OB will sell you case parts just like that - most likely they would want to install it as well.

·Back from the watchmaker with new bezel installed. It's a subtle change but really suits the white dial and applied markers. IMO, should've came this way as it makes it pop.

·Good point, it is blue on the Snoop 3! I’m sure I’ve seen black lumed ceramic bezels on another model but if I’m wrong on this it doesn’t trump that that the seller is offering other copy (fake) Omega parts inc fake DONs.
I note these have popped up before without too much controversy. I can’t deny it does look good!

·Anyone know, or have an educated guess: 1) would the ceramic bezel on the new Ed White work on a vintage model, and, 2), if yes, can it be ordered?

I can’t say for sure, but probably not.
The old style metal bezels were press fitted to the case, metal on metal. Since the ceramic insert in the new bezel will not take well to any flex associated with that type of installation or removal, the new case uses a hard plastic gasket between the bezel and case, so it’s somewhat similar to how a sapphire crystal is installed, or how a press fitted case back in installed.
So, totally different...

·Rolex has ruined the world's second-most-iconic watch with the transition from an aluminium bezel to showy, glossy ceramic. Personally I'm glad Omega hasn't done the same to the world's most iconic watch!

·I wish the FOIS came with a lume bezel. But again, I won't be adding it to my (now) 3 3861s. 4 3861s now, but one has blue ceramic....

·Does anyone know if the plastic gasket/spacer needs to be replaced EVERY time you reinstall the bezel? I ask because I was thinking of realigning my bezel as it is slightly off center. I was wondering if I would need to source a new gasket/spacer or if I could just pop off the bezel, realign and pop it back on using the same gasket/spacer?
