Does anyone know if the plastic gasket/spacer needs to be replaced EVERY time you reinstall the bezel? I ask because I was thinking of realigning my bezel as it is slightly off center. I was wondering if I would need to source a new gasket/spacer or if I could just pop off the bezel, realign and pop it back on using the same gasket/spacer?
I don’t believe so.

I think the ceramic bezel really pops on the white dial. I am tempted to do the mod on my project watch.

You won't regret it. Like you said, it really pops on the dial and matches the hour markers and hands. Really finishes off the whole watch. Wish they would've come like that from Omega.

Stumbled on this on FB, have to share it here... No more the Rising Sun, so Setting Sun perhaps 😀

I've been crawling through the Spiralwinder website and noticed they now produce the ceramic bezels in two new (to me) colors - blue and green! Anybody tried those already? [Photos from Spiralwinder, I am not affiliated with them]

Thanks for the update, I went to their website and noticed they now have the caseback for the trilogy speedmaster and went ahead and ordered it.

I like those colored bezels! How difficult is it to remove the original part without damage?

When I did my swap, took it to a local watchmaker. Costed $50 and a couple of weeks. Know some have done it themselves, but personally didn't want to take the chance of bending the original aluminum bezel.

Just to clarify, the removal of a bezel - the action itself - takes a couple of seconds, not weeks 😀 your watchmaker is probably quite busy.

I was under the impression that these bezels come with some sort of company-supplied bezel remover?

No, nothing proprietary. While there exist specialized tools from Bergeon, you can remove the Speedy bezel with a 3D printed lever as supplied by Spiralwinder or any plastic tool you find online. Spacefruit has a video of using a plastic casino coin. So almost anything will work.

I was just about to to mention the casino chip thing but wasn't sure if that still worked for the newer Speedmaster!

Yes, that tool by the company is what I was referring to. Does anyone have a picture of it?
