·I literally just did this tonight. I was about to fall and instinctively reached for a wall and my watch caught on the corner and ripped right off and fell to a hard tile floor 3 or 4 feet down. I'm really sick about it right now. So far though it seems to be keeping time but the bracelet is going to need some work. Also put a nice dent in the side of the case.
I'm going to head to the boutique tomorrow morning to try and see what can be done.
If I may add my opinion. Get the bracelet fixed but nothing else. That dent is part of your watch now, your story if you like. If this was a dress watch I'd feel different but it's a tool watch. Ask yourself. What would Paul Newman do if he'd dinked his Daytona? My guess is he would have looked down at it. Shrugged and carried on with whatever he was doing.
