So been wanting a 9300 or 9900 movement Speedmaster for a while. Just had a birthday a few days ago and...

Just bought my first Speedmaster Racing a few hours ago. Very happy as it is so much better than I thought it would be!!

Love the racing dial with the highly legible orange hands!

Happy birthday! Nice way to celebrate. Glad to see your car is in Park- we are having discussion on another thread about ass-hats who take wrist shots while driving.

Love the hands. Perfect for a racing inspired time piece. Reminds me of the hands on a tach or speedo of a sports car. 😀

@ShanS2k I just noticed your screen name. I don't suppose the "S2k" is in reference to the Honda S2000? (I had one and absolutely loved it; sadly I had to sell it about 2 years ago)

Congrats! That’s a cracking watch for sure! 👍
If only I had the wrists for a 44mm dial...

Wow! Congrats. The black dial looks awesome. Too big for my wrist, but cool watch none the less.

Yep sorry missed the message. I have a AP1 2001 all black one.. Love it.. And I have 240,000 miles on it. It was my daily driver for like 10 years. Now it's the weekend toy!

So what is interesting is its a 44.25 mm case.

The actual bezel is like 42 mm. And the visible face is like 35 mm. After I got it I realized it did not look super large.

Compared it to my other watches that are 42 mm at the bezel, and it's the same.

It really wears more like a 42 mm 😀
