Hard to square your comments with the bolded part. "Sharing your experience" and claiming he is "legit and 100% trustworthy" are not the same thing. If you think he is 100% trustworthy, logically you'd believe someone who claims impropriety is... Lying.(?)

I've had good experiences with bad dealers before, I think it's quite apropos to say that even a broken clock is correct twice a day, huh? Sometimes the guys faking and embellishing their wares get their hands on a decent example and the transaction goes smoothly
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This 1948 Hamilton Turner was waiting for me when I got home last night. It is in a 10K case and is powered by a 22j 770 Hamilton Movement. I apologize for my failings as a photographer.

Another nice one picked up for next to nothing. Old school Chinese Shanghai Watch Factory "ZSH". Hitting above its weight , yet unabashedly Chinese.
What looked to be a crack in the edge of the crystal, probably why no one else bid on this one, turned out to be just a long shallow scrape that should polish out easily.

That is a beauty. Is the blue tint in the crystal , the dial itself or a reflection?

Thanks for the compliment. The tint comes from the blue sky - I was in the shade when I took the picture so the light source (i.e. sky) is bluish. The dial itself is a satin silver color.

I bought this IWC R820A. You dont see these often. Wondering how many were produced. It's huge on the wrist with it's faceted lugs. Hope you enjoy it.

Auction photo:

What turned up:
A pleasant surprise no doubt. I've gotten several good deals with a single very low bid because the seller's photos were too murky for others to risk bidding.
