So ... I get a call about a fairly expensive watch yesterday. Nice watch but... I have concerns, so I do some research and I reach out to an expert. He agrees with me. Ultimately I pass. I however go to his website since he always has amazing stuff and boom! Now this is on my wrist...1971 Deep Sea 3100, V7733, it’s flawlessly beautiful and fiendishly hard to photograph. Shows what this brand was back in the day. Over the moon.
And of course the seller didn’t have just one pristine Deep Sea...he had this as well. I could not resist....
Dear Forum for my 5oth birthday i bought a Jaeger LeCoultre Master Calendar Moonphase 147.8.41.S Maybe a crowded dial but a very nice watch in my opinion.
Five bought this weekend, two have already gone on to new homes. This Bulova was bought for no money, will head off for service before it moves on: (Yup, in its original box) Four others were bought privately and I have this 1960 Waltham still ... The Cal 1686 was also used by Green and this one's running like a train. In fact, all four are running well. These three have basically paid for me to keep this cutie ... Or, that might go for my ProPlof Fund. The Nivada Antarctic has quite the history and, though it's not the first iteration, it makes up for it with a very clean movement, sharp case and that salmon/bronze dial. Both will clean up very nicely.
Today I picked up this rarely spotted titanium version of the PO, I can see this one being my daily watch for some time.
My new DOXA SUB 300T Searambler (Aqua-Lung co-branded/SYNCHRON-cased). In the third photo, it's pictured with its younger cousin, a 600T Aubry-era Searambler.
Recently bought a Nivada Pre Chronomaster on EBay US. This model will be the Covergirl for the upcoming Book „Chronomaster Only“ from the Writers of MWO, released 11/30/2018. As I have a little Nivada Chronomaster subcollection I thought that could be a good addition . HAGWE
