·I've been on the lookout for one of these pointer dates for quite some time. Ref 6605-4 from ~1950. A black gilt dial with a blue pointer, which seems to be somewhat uncommon.
Although I do remember a nice example (different variant) from @tmw57 from some time ago.

·I purchased this 2577 bumper from @cristos71 a couple of months back. I had fancied one for a couple of years, and struck a deal after seeing it in the for sale section with no bites..a couple of messages and it was on its way to me.
Worn daily, and hasn’t missed a beat. Probably one of my favourite watches, considering the overall cost, accuracy and charm!
I managed to source a period correct buckle from @hejsam, and had a strap made by Steveostraps, here in the U.K.
Very happy with the result!

I kindof like that strap too. Dark, but not black, ties in a bit with the gold hardware. Seems it would look sharp but not out of place in either casual or dressy wear.
