After five years of lurking, my first Omega purchase sourced right here from OF.
1966 C-Case 168.017, 561 cal.
It's a birth year watch.

Please forgive my craptastic photography. It really doesn't do the watch any favors. It's absolutely beautiful (pic taken straight out of the shipping box before setting the date).
Also, I'm one of those weirdos that wears my watch on the inside of my wrist. (I'll have to start a thread about that eventually...)

A quite rare one: Seamaster "Special" Ref 2975-3 (one of gentas earliest designs for Omega). Better pics to follow.
Here is one I picked up a few years ago having gold bezel ref. 2975-3SC.

Dang, that thing is large and in charge!
Not really! 46mm-ish across and being square shaped the L2L is too; i have tiny wrists, 15.5cm!

This Geneve wouldn't usually catch my eye, but I noticed it was on a 1035 flatlink so I bid on it. I figured I can pass the watch on and use the bracelet on something else, not sure what watches the #630 endlinks will fit.

It was hard to judge the condition from the photos, so it will be interesting to see what shows up. Hopefully I didn't miss something obvious.

The black one arrived today - more on the matter when I find a bit more time… 😀

Would we call that a "hammered" dial? They're bloody gorgeous!

I think we’ve kind of agreed on “golf ball” dial. If you search the term in the forum you’ll find a handful of examples.

Was finally able to purchase one at retail and it’s as much fun as I imagined it to be 😀 👍 10 out of 10 would do this again with a different “Mission”

Just back from a full service my new to me Montine Inflight.

When I got it from the auction the push the crown to change the date did not work and looking at the crown it appeared to be wider than the slot in the case so I suspected a crown change was responsible for the lack of date change on push so mentioned to my WM.

On further research I found all the online images of this watch were identical to my crown so I told my watch maker that it was likely an original crown and not change it.

When I picked it up I asked if the push date change was working and he said no, will need to change the crown for a smaller one, Oh well, I pushed the crown in and voila the date changed, my WM couldn't beleive his eyes lol

Not that it would have been too great an issue as the movement also has a quick change 9 to 12 action as do most others, seems a bit odd that they would have both, a quality movement indeed!

Awful Seller’s photos, but I’ve taken a chance and despite my understandable concerns about the eBay 'private listing - bidder identity protected', I’ve taken a chance.

Obviously, these are the ‘before' photos but the Seller says, ‘it’s running and keeps good time', and offers 14 days return, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh, and it came in at £330, which I thought was about right.
