A long time since I posted in this thread and to be honest I never expected I would again but I am obviously not as strong willed as I thought 😀

My small collection is pretty varied, pocket watch to moon watch, a some others in-between. The modern trend for vintage inspired rally style chronographs has caught my eye for a while now but I was never able to find one that spoke out to me and the real vintage market was a bit daunting. Patience is a virtue they say and this was proved when up popped this stunning Seiko 6138-8030, "John Player Special", courtesy of @MtV . For once I was the first to offer and it arrived this week. On the wrist, it's stunning, far better than my photos can show. It has ticked the box and scratched the itch etc, etc. Its wonderful and I will enjoy wearing.

Another arrival this week. I showed off my new vintage Eterna on Monday (see previous post). Yesterday I received a Railmaster 1957 LE. Poor quality photo due to the rain, but I couldn’t wait to show it off 😀.

It arrived a few weeks ago, but I dutifully kept it in it's box until my birthday earlier this week.

Already smitten with the Kurono Tokyo Chronograph 1 Mk.2!!

Have a great day ΩF !

Just arrived this week, looking for some advice. Do I just own up to another watch or do I start to casually wear it hoping she gets used to it and starts to not notice, thinks it's one of his old ones.

Honesty is the best policy 😀

Just got this yesterday has a great dial.
Montine Inflight, circa 1970 give or take. These were very popular and they shifted 1/2 a million units a year, first one I have seen.

After five years of lurking, my first Omega purchase sourced right here from OF.
1966 C-Case 168.017, 561 cal.
It's a birth year watch.

Please forgive my craptastic photography. It really doesn't do the watch any favors. It's absolutely beautiful (pic taken straight out of the shipping box before setting the date).
Also, I'm one of those weirdos that wears my watch on the inside of my wrist. (I'll have to start a thread about that eventually...)
