My small collection is pretty varied, pocket watch to moon watch, a some others in-between. The modern trend for vintage inspired rally style chronographs has caught my eye for a while now but I was never able to find one that spoke out to me and the real vintage market was a bit daunting. Patience is a virtue they say and this was proved when up popped this stunning Seiko 6138-8030, "John Player Special", courtesy of @MtV . For once I was the first to offer and it arrived this week. On the wrist, it's stunning, far better than my photos can show. It has ticked the box and scratched the itch etc, etc. Its wonderful and I will enjoy wearing.
Another arrival this week. I showed off my new vintage Eterna on Monday (see previous post). Yesterday I received a Railmaster 1957 LE. Poor quality photo due to the rain, but I couldn’t wait to show it off 😀.
Just arrived this week, looking for some advice. Do I just own up to another watch or do I start to casually wear it hoping she gets used to it and starts to not notice, thinks it's one of his old ones.

Just got this yesterday has a great dial.
Montine Inflight, circa 1970 give or take. These were very popular and they shifted 1/2 a million units a year, first one I have seen.
