Alcohol + eBay last night🤦, pulled the trigger on this TDM (seller's pics):

Not much info out there about this manufacture but the dial and movement look clean and the asking price didn't break the bank. Looking forward to its arrival!😀
Not as bad as this dog I hit after too much Passover wine... note the subdial bc I sure didn't! Doh! 1ea8821db1d87cabeb001262a7fdfb00.jpg 2d393d010fec6aa895ea3eea2af001bf.jpg 2f781f8dcc1e1dd05727c868bf03cb4d.jpg a4483bf93fdd0fb8c4e295808bc21d9c.jpg
Thankfully it was cheap... very cheap. It's also small, very small. And nickel plated. But still wish I'd have "passed this one over!"

That's hilarious! Well if you rotate the dial 90 degrees clockwise...the subdial looks slightly less...not good.😵‍💫

This UG 262 based on not so good pictures. Lets see what it gives.
After having some problems with the seller, shipped to the wrong address, little to no contact following the sale, etc., I was finally able to pick up this lovely UG ref. 21264 cal. 262 from 1940 at the post office. Unfortunately, it looks like the crystal was cracked during transport but the watch looks nice. Not sure the crown is original but those blue hands are beautiful!

Sometimes a purchase comes as a surprise. I put in a bid on this WWW Omega without a hope that it would kick in.
Then suddenly an invoice from the auctioneer dumped into my "inbox". 😀
Crown is later replacement. The rest looks fair. I belive it should clean up very nicely with a service and some "spit and shine"..... At least it has not been "tarted up" for sale!

And it arrived. Set the full date but not the moonphase because I like the smiley face where it is.I really like it! The numeral font on the watch is great. Maybe I should drink a bottle of wine before ALL my purchases!😁

I LOVE that strap
I was going to get the green dial and flat green strap and stumbled onto that on Amazon and had to have it, only thing I don't like is that it is a one piece strap and covers the caseback so can't watch the wheels and gears do their thing. Have a two piece coming in but not identical 🙁 and after complaining about one piece bought another one piece for it that looks vaguely like the family tartan.

Paid for last week, but the long holiday weekend put an extra day on to delivery times.

Was a little nervous over this purchase, as I was struggling to "buy the seller" - Runs as should, is in fantastic condition, and has intact serials.

Will pop along to the boutique tomorrow and get the waterproofing tested... then take this thing in the sea!

I'm looking forward to having both a chrono and a second time zone. 7 hands! Now to think about tracking down the bracelet.

Finally got my hands on this Lemania single pusher. Can someone confirm the 2782 on the back please.

What would you like to have confirmed?
Not an expert on these, but you have a typical HS-9 that has been re-issued as a 0552/924. You can see the HS9 stamp having been struck through, and the 0552 marking applied.

Some info here:
http://www.time514.com/LSBC.htm

0552 means Royal Navy
924-3306 means chronographs for use by air crew
(These seem to be of the asymmetrical case.)

3305 indicates non-incabloc movements ???

3305 would be ok for an ex-HS9 as these have the older non-incabloc config. That would also explain the symmetrical case instead of the asymmetric style.
2782 would be the serial. Mine is 4693.
😀

A gorgeous mesh for my (me thinks) gorgeous 176.007... gorgeously fitted by the OB, while I was trying on both gorgeous LE bullheads they had in the shop and drooling even more so at the gorgeous, blonde-haired, blue-eyed Russian saleslady...

gorgeous day, all-in-all, really 😁

Just swapped my Rolex Explorer 2 for this. Absolutely love that dial.
