I used to build model kits a lot when I was a kid. Mostly WW2 aircraft and tanks. My skills were never as good as yours though. Love your military watches as well, especially the Omega. I'm guessing it's UK military issue?
That Omega looks to be in quite good nick for its age. Which turret were you sitting in on the Lanc?
Pictured below are military items that hold significant sentimental value to me…my original brass naval aviator wings and my original dog tags…
The naval aviator wings pictured above are the ones that Dad pounded on my chest on 03JUN88 at NAS Whiting Field…and he gave me “blood wings” which was pretty cool. Mom can be seen in the lower left of the pic…she was not too happy about the “blood wings” evolution…but she got over it…
. But Here are a few things that were issued when I was in SBU 11.

Have two of these they kept you warm you would layer up when you were training in the winter on the river.

Got two of these got one of the older green ones to. I was in a Cargo Handling Battalion and the unit had a Conex box had not opened in years and they opened it up and found all these Old NOS Green M-65 jackets with liners since we used Camo M-65 jackets the CO said everyone take two I kept one and gave one to my brother. The Green one still in NOS condition wore the hell out of the Camo one in three different units.
Thanks again for sharing. May I ask what is the significance of the number 468 on the blue jacket? Was that the number of your patrol boat?
Always liked the OD green M-65 field coat. Such an iconic and effective design. Make sure you take good care of yours. Good condition examples are getting hard to find. Mine says "Hi":
