Black laquer , panda , sandwitch, applied indice, céramic bezel are good things but not enough for a spécific Launch with this advertissment.. Not enough compare to the White speed.

Sh!t. Now this has become the Bob Weir Speedmaster and I kind of need one for that reason only.

I believe it’s this one. Saw it from Reddit but post already deleted (was a zoom call with names on it lol) could still see it on google tho. Looks like “maybe lacquered black dial”, plated hands, plated indices, white subdials. To me it’s a day one credit card slams… finally a regular production run of the speedy Tuesday!

This was AI. Still hope this is it

Definitely AI (from that Reddit post where they say they’ve used Gemini)… 80 instead of 90 on the bezel 😝

The image apparently was shared and deleted, the Reddit user use Gemini to try to clean the original up....

I re-shared the one that was posted and deleted by somebody else, as there seemed to be another thread saying all the wrong things and my brain was hurting when I knew what had been leaked 😅 so I suspect they took the image from my thread. Either way, it looks good besides the two 80s on the bezel.

True, this is an indicator that the ‘leaked’ product image is AI generated as the poster on Reddit also claims. There’s no mention of the prompt used to get Gemini AI produce this image. I suspect the prompt involved the screenshot shared earlier in this thread. And in case you’re wondering; that watch does have the right (dot over) 90.

TLDR / conclusion: the fact that this image is AI generated, does not invalidate the possibility that it depicts the actual release.

By the way; I do believe it’s true. As an ST1 owner, I won’t buy it, but do applaud to it as I think it would make perfect sense as an addition to the Speedmaster line. And in times like these, when sales are under pressure, I’d expect Omega to expedite releases with a high likelihood of popularity (read: low risk, high turnover potential) which is exactly what I believe this release can bring.

Spot on, totally agree.

What ever happens I sure it will be a small step for Omega and a giant leap for Speedy nerds. 😉

I like it. A bit obvious considering the gold reverse panda that was stealth released.

I prefer these subdials over the ST1.

Maybe we will see some new tech on this watch. Spirate? But Im more interested in the next Gen SMP300 than movement upgrades to the Moonwatch.

the posted pic was from a facebook group....I'm suspicious as I was focused on the edges of the subdials.....it just does not look right....in addition, somebody mentioned why would Omega put white hands on the white subdials.....however, another member indicated that the black dial is lacquered, subdials are punched out and then sandwiched......who knows, but we only have a few days when it all becomes official....

Speculation drums up hype. They know what they're doing.
i hope so. But if the release is as shown in the image, it hasn’t caused much of a stir even on this forum, let alone in places where there is no particular bias towards Omega.

I guess it depends where you look. The Omega Watches subreddit on Reddit seems to have plenty of people invested. But it’s a different clientele to on here.

I believe many of the past successful Omega Speedmaster models that created a stir largely stemmed from intricate design details and elements. Take, for example, the Snoopy, Ultraman, and ST1 editions—each contained delightful nuances that brought a smile to enthusiasts' faces. But in this new model, I don’t see that. To me, it feels more like a standard color scheme update, similar to the previously released white-dial Speedmaster. That, of course, is still a well-executed piece, but perhaps not one that deserves major hype.
