Reminds me of some baubles I created for my Christmas tree last year

Here is an example of this year’s version

There is something new coming up. And it's sooner than you think.

And yea RJ is dropping hints (I'm sure he knows whatever I know and more) to what's coming and it's pretty close. Stay tuned for the next 10 days or so 😉

Isn’t the first Tuesday of the year often a launch date?

Just emailed my OB advisor to make one happen for me if it's true. And if it's not unobtanium metal.

I had the ST1 and ST2, and enjoyed them for the five or six years I had them but moved them on in the last six months, along with a Tokyo 2020 and a 3861 hesalite Speedmaster. Still have nine Speedmasters which is too many for me. Further thinning planned this year. So will be interested to see if there is an ST3 coming, but it won't make it into the collection.

Yeah, same. I'm really quite happy with my 6 speedmasters, I doubt I'll end up with another one? Unless ST3 is absurdly good...

As a ST2 owner, I would be down for a ST3. I wonder if Omega learned anything from the first two releases in terms of making the watches available. There were a lot of angry collectors who were not able to secure a reservation online.

I bought both of my STs on the grey market at a price higher than retail, but not absurdly so. Still made a nice profit when I sold/traded them. ST1 and ST2 sales programs were poor, imo, many people missed out on getting an original one from Omega. But that's always going to be an issue when only 2,000 or so watches are available. In my view it should be done on a lottery basis, you fill out a form over a short period of time, say 24 hours, and then Omega does a true random draw. Everyone has an equal chance, you are either lucky or you are not.

Apparently there is something coming soon ( based on my exchange with my contact at the omega boutique).

Wonder if it would be a broad arrow model. I know RJ & the team at Fratello love the ‘replica/ reissue model

He wrote "perhaps" so it could be nothing, and i am pretty sure he mentioned in previous years there would not be an ST3, so i am thinking a surprise out-of-the-box like a Swatch Bioceramic 😉 collab ?

One for Summer

Or a Black Ops

In my view it should be done on a lottery basis,
I hope not because flippers will enter a zillion forms to get as many tickets in as possible.
How about a 24-48 hour order window with 30-50% deposit and they will make a many as ordered ? Therefore not limited, as per new Omega policy, but just limited production and that will help to keep out those nasty scalpers.
