Any Omega fans NOT interested in the Speedmaster? If so, why?

I see it as a typical engineers watch, or lower ranking clerk, lower officer or maybe auditor type of guys watch. Neat, bordering on pedantic, far far away from technically based human achievements themselves but preoccupied with them. When they take autism tests online they come out with clear traits or borderline. No offence.

And its ugly.

Sure I’ll bite. You mean like the engineer stereotype of not careing about social norms, hence they buy the better choice unswayed by popular opinion? Why buy the more expensive sub or Daytona that is either less watch and or unreadable just because sheep.. I mean sales guys want the more recognized brand?

I find it interesting that people who go out of their way to write offensive things, find it easier to write "no offence", rather than not cause offence in the first place. 🙄

Shut up, you bumbling f#@*ing twit. No offense! 😗

I've worked with several bright engineers, some of which have a graduate degree from MIT, and they tend to favor a watch with high funtion/price ratio, like a Casio. If they are the physically active type they splurge on a Garmin.

I don’t know if that’s necessarily true... from that last comment you sound to me like a very stable genius.

Stable genius...I say checkmate!

These days it's all Apple watches. Or if they're Android devs, one of the smart watches on those platforms

"Any meat fans not interested in chicken? If so, why?"
"Any music fans not interested in heavy metal? If so, why?"

All the same question, all the same answer. 42.

Now that that one is solved...neeeeeeext.

Of course, I am referring to real engineers —those who design hardware. 😜

Think I've maybe forgotten to take my pills today 😉

The chemical engineered pills made in a structurally engineered factory on highly engineered process lines sold to you by lower sales clerk. That you drove your car designed by automotive engineers listening to your electrical engineered radio on a road built with the help of civil ............... Is this easy to read on your computer/software engineered device......

Oh, I know. But it's not just software engineers with Apple watches, it's pretty much everyone. Though here in San Francisco the tech industry touches just about everything

Sounds like an unsubstantiated line of bullshit. No offense.

I dare you Speedmaster lovers - take a autism test and post your results here...I bet no less than 6 of 10 will get test result telling them they've got a hint of ASD - cause you cannot be so hung up in something so boring and dull looking and be without such traits. Prove me wrong !

I love Omega watches and would spend a lot of time discussing them in this fine forum if it were not for all the Speedmaster talk, it's like being in a nice living room with lots of good people - and then there is a turd in the middle of the floor everyone is talking about. All you wish for is that they would take this object to a chambre séparée and talk about it there. But they don't.

@Gstp

You, Sir, are a bell-end.

I say that with about as much foundation as your claim.

If I were you, I'd quit while you're behind...

I quite like Speedmasters but only have one. I don't read most of the Speedmaster threads but it's no hardship. Plenty of interesting topics on here if you look.

So this is the second time you've brought this up.. But why are you so obsessed with accusing people of being autistic? This isn't even about watches anymore. Have you ever dealt with anyone that had a disability? You're being a complete tool. No offense of course.
