Some hobby websites call a subforum for arguing the "Asylum" or similar, but I propose we name it the "Omegadome". Ash & Trev can create it right after the dedicated Speedmaster forum gets launched. I should never have subletted my ΩF condo on the top floor.
TZ-UK have one called the Bear Pit. It is a truly nasty and horrible place but quite compelling viewing in a car crash kind of way. I come here to get away from that kind of thing to be honest.
I'm sorry, but it already consumes all the free time I have reading about what watch someone else wants to know looks best on them in my opinion, and what my favorite breakfast cereal is to eat with each specific Omega model. I seriously doubt I could set aside any more time in order to participate in a bickering subforum, especially since I am also on a never-ending quest to let everyone in the world know the 'holy grail' speedmaster is the greatest watch that ever has, or ever will be, produced. But I sincerely appreciate the invite.

I come here to get away from media and politics and Facebook and arguments. Still I do Relish the “old days” Dennis. Very entertaining it was.
I’m newer, one of the things I like here is the level of maturity and dignity. Plenty of other places to go and argue on an online forum, and my opinion is it isn’t needed here.
I can go either way. In my experience people are more concerned with 'winning' online arguments than having honest discussions and examining their beliefs.
My 2 cents: In my time on forums a place 'for nonsense' - a Crypt, a Flambe, an Asylum - usually serve a few purposes, and can act as a soak for the noise that detracts from the more serious threads. ... You can also always have the fun of banishing repeat offenders to only have access to that 'lower' region...
