The thing has a bold Snoopy on the front of the watch. It has a gigantic Snoopy on the back of the watch. It came with a Snoopy pin. Omega Boutiques put huge Snoopy displays in the window. Omega themselves refer to the connection to Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang. Oh, but it's not about Snoopy. No.

You still have entirely missed the point yet again, re-read my previous post. If you still fail to comprehend it, re-read it again and keep trying until something clicks in your head, it may take a long time for you but you'll get there eventually.

Put your popcorn away RP, I have no further desire to continue this [though clearly my detractors do].

Such high sensitivity. In a jewelry forum of all things. It's actually funny.

Tell me your point. I don't remember who you are or what you posted.

Now your just trolling. 2nd or 3rd time you have accused people of what your doing.

Your also speaking in absolutes when no one else is. No one stated someone did not buy it for the Snoopy, I'd bet someone did. What everyone here is saying is that the Snoopy collectors are not driving the price of this watch up.

"Speaking in absolutes" means nothing in a discussion forum. One doesn't have to repeat "my opinion" and "I think" and "I believe" ad infinitum every time he is trying to make a point, it's part of the medium.

When an NFL announcer shouts "Oh, what a mistake! He should have stayed in bounds!" on your TV, he doesn't have to say "in my opinion" or "I believe" or "I think" each time. He's an announcer. He gets paid for his opinions. This is a discussion forum, it's how it works.

@speedolex

You are beginning to sound a bit put upon and paranoid to be honest. I have actually lost track of what it was you are arguing and I think possibly so have you. One minute you hate the ST, next you hate the Snoopy. That is OK, you are entitled to hate whatever you like but why do you feel the need to argue in circles for hours and spoil and otherwise interesting thread. For the record, I hate the cartoon nonsense on the Snoopy and wouldn't be seen dead with one on but I don't feel the need to drag the arse out of it or tell others how to think.

Take a break!

Onus probandi...argument from ignorance...classic stuff!

Why would I have to back up a claim that I've never made? I have no beliefs about the percentage of Omega v Snoopy collectors who buy this watch. This sort of claim seems to be your specialty, so I'm just asking for some facts to back up what you are claiming. Showing me pictures of store displays, etc. doesn't prove any cartoon enthusiasts have bought any of these, let alone that the demand from this sector is equal to that of the Omega collectors.

You are entitled to your opinions, but those are not the same as facts.

Cheers, Al

....all of which is a way for you to shove your opinion of how a discussion forum should operate down others throats which should offend you just as much as my typing style apparently does.

You want facts, find a library. You want opinion, have fun in a discussion forum. If I were telling members that the first watch on the moon was red with pink dots on it, different story. I am sharing my opinions on purchase motivation on a medium designed for sharing opinions with a bunch of opinionated enthusiasts. What a crime.

Tell the other two to leave me be. They are hurting my feelings. I don't deserve this.

Wow. Just wow.

Here's a 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' question for y'all : Tom, Bert and William were the names of which species of funky creatures in 'The Hobbit'?

Here's a hint :

Now I've ordered both sweet and salt. LOL
Actually...I think I might order some more...

I was very fortunate to see this family of Orcas near Victoria, BC. I love these animals....

Prove to Archer that these are indeed a "family" of Orcas and not a coincidental pod. He's sick of you presenting your opinion as fact.

"Typing style"...that's a new one.

You want facts, find a library.

Okay, but you did demand that I prove your unproven assertions (a.k.a. "valid speculation") wrong. The speedolex library seems to be full of books with bank pages.

You want opinion, have fun in a discussion forum.

I have certainly formed an opinion. And I never said I wasn't having fun - you can have plenty of fun while being factual, so it's not an either/or proposition, at least for me. I am all for having a healthy discussion with those who present well reasoned arguments.

I know you feel picked on, however I've not accused you of trolling (something you have done to me) and all I've done is ask you to prove what you are so adamant are correct assumptions (and then responded to your other assertions). You can't, so end of story as far as I'm concerned, but you do seem to want to keep this going, even after you have said you have no desire to.

I'm not a defender of the Snoopy watches, or any Omegas for that matter. I have no desire to own a Silver Snoopy model.

Prove to Archer that these are indeed a "family" of Orcas and not a coincidental pod. He's sick of you presenting your opinion as fact.

Keep digging...that hole isn't quite deep enough yet...

Cheers, Al

Well actually is was indeed a transient "pod" (the ones that eat cute seals/porpoises/dolphins😲) and not the resident "PC correct pod", focused on Pacific Salmon. I guessed they were "family" because of the mix of junior / senior members...but I suppose they could have been on a school outing...oops I think school is the collective for fish??😁

This reminds of me of the brilliant Gerald the Gorilla sketch..."it's a flange of baboons"..."David Bloody Attenborough!".
