I' ll have a watchmaker looking at it Friday, but my brother thinks a service will be a waste unless done by Omega:whipped:
I would only replace the crystal and give the movement a good service.

Be careful with Omega, ive sent in a Omega Seamaster Chronograph (321), and they totally messed it up. Wrong crystal, overpolishing (horrible, almost cried!) and wrong hands. There are really good independent watchmakers out there!

As Omega also changes the tritium filled parts, best is to source independent watchmaker with Omega certification..
I agree to change the crystal and especially the seal beneath it, as it melts into the inner tachymetric bezel.

Yes, Omega book Journey through a time states, that 200 were made, heavies full gold watch Omega ever produced.
