This morning I looked outside the house at 7.30 on my day off, I checked the weather on several apps and decided to leave at 8.30. I wore my very stylish flightmaster that I picked up on Sunday and I decided to do some checks on the watch to try to understand if in the conditions described, the quality of the watch had been maintained in extreme conditions. I state that from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday morning the clock gained 20 seconds, standing at about +7-8 seconds per day, starting from a sedentary use without being worn. Here are the results after 8 hours of dynamic work overcoming 6 Swiss mountain passes with very different temperatures between the top and the bottom of the valley, vibrations of the handlebars of a BMW M1000 competition, accelerations, wrist movements, etc.
Have fun reading in Italian and English and imagine me on a long day on a motorcycle taking pictures, taking temperatures without almost having time to eat. A real blast!
Some of you use to do something like this with his Watch? Let me know if you also do oddities of this kind.

Haha no I don’t do things like this with my omegas but I loosened a screw on my 80s constellation movement 2 weeks ago riding my 50 year old Vespa because it has a fυcked up suspension and I hit a little whole in the road… that hit must have loosened the screw because whene I checked my watch a few minutes late rot had stopped… Luckily it was still under 24 month warranty from my watchmaker since I got it serviced in June 2025 (got it back yesterday)

So my manhattan failed that stress test going 50kmh on a Vespa 😂 and it’s never going to go on such a ride with me again. Therefore I will need to get a more robust of omega at some point in the near future. Reading your post and story may be I should get me a flightmaster 😇😉

Probably you need to improve the vespa shock absorbers. Do not think it depends from Strong acceleration. 🤣 Have a great day.

This could cause serious damage to the watch. I have two cats and I never leave the watch in their presence. These mad run everywhere. Sometimes I wonder if they are sensitive to gravitational forces...😉

Haha it’s for sure the absorber on the front wheel! Its too old and definitely needs to be exchanged rather sooner than later 😂 the Vespa has no way too excalerate fast with that small engine 😇😉
