OEM is Banda, not uncommon, and late 60s to early 70s like the watch. Wouldn't be surprised if that's its original strap.
Thanks - definitely not original strap unless they were separated and miraculously brought together. The strap came off a cheap quartz dress watch I inherited from my grandfather. He also had a quartz Omega from the 70s Which he wore on a gold bracelet so he may have switched this strap from that watch. The watch I bought from a dealer about 2 years ago, but I’m delighted to learn they are from the same era. I think they look great together.

Got stung with an ebay fake today. Adding photos to this thread to make sure no one else gets hit. Following up with the seller.

When Omega is selling this style of buckle brand-new, there's no need to risk it.

Yeah, and they are not really expensive. In Poland the're ~€50 if I remember well.

Hello,

I'm tempted by this high priced 18mm buckle. Looks correct to me but the Swiss stamp is wonky, and I have not seen another like it to compare. Any thoughts?

Genuine but I have 1 I might sell to you if it’s particularly expensive if you’re interested

If it is, it's 18K white gold. Take it to a jeweler and have it tested.

Hi all -- I've really gotten a ton of knowledge from reading this thread! Thanks to the OP and everyone who has contributed to date. I recently picked up what I believe to be a one-owner, all original Seamaster deVille and thought I'd share a few pictures. I purchased it from an estate dealer via eBay. The back is engraved with the owner's name which matches that on the warranty card. I removed the strap and replaced the spring bars, for obvious reasons. They're crusty and corroded with decades of lord only knows what! But the main reason for posting is the buckle. It doesn't match any I've seen in this thread, unless I've somehow missed it. No markings on the back either. So could be either a fake, a US market buckle, or something else? Curious what others might have to say about it?

Here’s the modern Omega offerings... both £40 and they will ship.

Oh I had no idea they were producing vintage spec buckles. Did you order them from a boutique?
