Omega Buckle

Hello.

I bought this buckle for 10 euros and I'm wondering if it's authentic; the polish looks too new to me. I've seen several similar buckles in one of the forum threads, but I don't have the expertise to tell them apart.

I'm currently hunting buckles as well and it is my understanding that, on genuine buckles, there is a larger space between 'ACIER' and 'INOX' to denote that they are two words (though, there seems to be a huge amount of variation across examples)

Hi. Actually, looking at the logo, it doesn’t seem to be genuine, but the back is signed ‘MG’, which is a company that has been manufacturing buckles for Omega for many years. There’s a very interesting thread on this forum called ‘About Omega Buckles’; I’d recommend you read it as it will certainly be of help to you.
