Offered a set of two Omega buckles... not sure of authenticity

Dear friends,

I was offered (they said from a watchmaker dead stock) of two buckles, one in 16 mm. one in 18.mm.

I've never saw an M included in a square, and another sign that me think they are not original is the dot after ACIERINOX.

Can you let me know what you think?

Thanks a lot!

Dear friends,

after reading an study the very impressive post on buckles, I realize that even checking very well, the buckle sold online, is so hard to be sure of authenticity of vintage Omega buckles, if I'm not wrong, there are fake that are perfectly made, showing exactly the same marks of the original category stated in the above post.

I found this one, and ma still wondering, after checking the guidelines of the buckle thread, it it can be said authenctci.

What do you think?

Thank you n advance for guiding me in this complicate field.

One prolific eBay seller marks all his posts "L@@K" - a telltale sign from a scam artist. This looks like one of his fakes.

Unfortunately they are like so, I just I have outlined the details to highlight the logo on the back.
But the original one I get form the auction has exactly the same overexposed light :-(

I’m not sure this is fake need more pictures to tell.
Btw regarding your earlier comments the fakes are not perfectly made there are almost always issues when you examine text logo shape etc but bad photos can make it harder.

Thanks SOG53, I am sure there are, in fact for a not expert like me, I was tempted to think this buckle was good... all seems nice for a non expert... the aged font and sun logo, the irregular embossing, and so on... but in all the "buckle thread" it seems non of the buckle showed was similar. This makes me in doubt.

Here, the original pic if this may help to add some more knowledge.

The logo looks rough and crude and wrong shape. It could be original but it’s not attractive I would pass on that basis. The text on back is passable.

Are you familiar with UG Polerouter buckles enough to venture an opinion as to their authenticity?

I recently bought a 1959 20368 Polerouter and am considering this buckle. Italian seller, claims he received from a closed UG shop in Switzerland.
