Which Seamaster do you own? I am curious about the buckle width.

Cal 750. The leather strap I have on it isn't original, the watch came with a gold plated bracelet.

I would get a 19/16mm strap. Let's start a new thread 😉

I don't want to spend $30 on something so beat up but I honestly can't find anywhere else.
Have you tried an Omega Boutique in your country?

Probably. But $30 (with shipping) is quite expensive for a used modern buckle.

That's not much less than what a brand new one runs from suppliers.

comes to $60 with tax and shipping, unfortunately. I'm debating on whether or not I should try and cancel that order on eBay now.

EDIT: The nearest OB is extremely far, so I'm unable to get to one

That looks like a "transitional" B-signed buckle no?

finally got a gold buckle for my 1970 seamaster. Now I'm waiting for an 19/16mm Italian strap to arrive to complete the watch.

it's a gold filled US buckle from around 1950ish? Not too sure on the date. Everything looks legit, so I believe it's an authentic buckle.
p.s sorry for the bad picture quality, my phone sucks!

Where have you ordered your Italian strap? I am currently looking for a special one which should refine my new Speedy.

I happened to put these side by side together so I thought I'd share. The one on the left is a very common ebay fake.

Today I had the chance to put side by side the vintage buckle and the recent vintage styled buckles made by omega. The strap on the right is from a 60th speedy. Just thought I'd share because I haven't seen a side by side pic somewhere.
The modern omega lookalike is not bad (better than the ebay one for sure!!!) but is a bit fatter at the top and less sharp.
