That strap is gorgeous and compliments the x watch well. What skin is it made from? Can you share the source of the strap?

Thanks. It's lizard skin, made in Italy, based on the inside stamps. My local watch guy let me pick through his freebie pile of straps, so I don't know the brand.

It's 17mm and the watch could handle an 18mm. I am okay with a little narrow to avoid rubbing the gold. Plus, it just matches the watch so well. I'll take my lumps and have to live with it. 😁

my wife showed me this about arrest of high-end purse designer who was smuggling exotic skin purses and selling for big money to NY fashionistas- will it trickle down to watch straps???

OP rules for straps are clear, there must be rules otherwise things get messy. I think I’ve followed them.
Broad arrow on Bulang racing:

CWC on single loop Falkland strap:

This one is a bit tricky, brown dial on black leather alligator, with a deployment clasp:

Following OP rules, what’s best best strap for such a watch (which will be worn over wetsuits, stinger suits and digging for mudcrabs in mangrove mud? But also stylish if feasible? And maximum adjustable to even fit a dry suit?

I did get some flak for this 2254 and Citizen rubber. Dear pretentious, snobby and old fashioned strap guru, am I in the wrong with this combo?

Red alligator strap for a red Speedy 😀

What’s your verdict?

Wow! I think you found the perfect strap for the red Speedy. The color, shape, thickness, and profile (chef's kiss). Where is it from?

or this one?

If your dive watch didn't come with a bracelet. You have one choice: black rubber (silicone is just fancy science rubber, so I'm lumping them together). If you put leather on a dive watch, may the ghost of Jacques Costeau put laughing gas in your air tank. If you want to advertise to the whole world that your dive watch will never go near the ocean, then go ahead and do leather…. actually… don't… pretend you're not a boring accountant who never sees the sun and get a proper rubber strap. Black only!“
No Black band available from BlancPaine‍♂️or non OME! I want to stick this down mudcrab holes and that silly strap of a silicon will be bite. Off with the first fresh aussie mudcrab buck

That Bulang is my favorite Speedmaster strap. I think it looks better on the Professional, but it's still a winner on the broad arrow. Nice proper military strap on the CWC. I would have gone with black, but I understand that's hard to match with an outfit, so I'll give you some leeway.
The Speedy Pro is all wrong. That's a dress strap. Get yourself a proper calves leather racing strap, in black of course.

That watch is so big, I think it has to be a factory strap. Everything else won't fill out the space between the lugs making it look under strapped. I hate the extortionist price on Omega straps, but you have to here.

You're putting me in a tough place here. Alligator is not for chronographs, but I have to admit, you're on to something. It's the ridges that take it out of the dress strap realm and make it sporty enough for a chronograph. Ridged straps like this are found on Breitlings typically, but with the bold color match it looks good on this Omega. All-in-all I'd say this is successful bending of the rules. Consider yourself lucky and stick to the rules next time.

Pfff…difficult these rules, still learning. The speedy pro has a brown dial, would a brown racing strap be ok I wonder…

Don't know what you will think, but I like a lot a middle brown suede strap with Speedmaster Mark40.
Here it is.
