·Let’s say you have a watch head, and you have a bunch of different straps you’d like to try, in order to determine which looks best. But, you don’t want to actually put each one on via the spring bars. Reason? My technique is probably lacking, as the straps go on effortlessly, but in taking them off, I tend to bugger up the leather area near the lugs.
So given my skills are unlikely to improve in the short run, any ideas on how to temporarily affix the strap to the watch to see if I like it? I was thinking about some kind of tape on the back of the lugs and strap, but most would likely affect the leather upon removal. Any ideas appreciated.
