This is how my fake after market AT strap looks like after a year or two of mostly laying in a drawer. Sometimes buying cheap is expensive. I know I shoudn't have bought it, but it did not have the Omega markings in the sales picture.
I'll grade it my self: Grade F

I think you all universally hate this, but here it is. I am really into it. It was just a free strap I got alongside another strap order, but then I bought this watch head only, and this fit. I kind of think it contrasts well without actually taking over the interest of the watch, which, to me, is very interesting.

But I freely admit I did not craft this in trench warfare, out of all commercial options.

Bringing up this thread again cause I need OF opinions. Grey crocodile on "dress" watch to dress it down for more everyday wear, or did it dress it up? Had in on a brown cordovan strap before. Disliked the original JLC tan ostrich. Reversos ARE strap monsters.

I like my reverso dressed down with a fabric/canvas strap. I have this one and a navy blue strap and will take better pictures.

It also helps that the GMT pushers give it a chronograph vibe.

I like options #1 and #3, #2 leaves me flat. I personally think grey on yellow gold is a very attractive combination, but you can't go wrong with a nice saddle tan strap, either.

#1 looks great, a classic. #3 isn't bad, but a distant second. #2 doesn't work with this watch IMO.

If @bradurani were still around, he would be losing it on this one. This is a pretentious, snobby, old fashioned watch collectors nightmare. You can't dress down a Reverso, it is way to beautiful to wear canvas. 🙂

My opinion is that is a great watch and you should wear it however you damn well like it. 👍

Now now. I’m sure my reverso is already ungentlemanly with its thicker case, excessive complications, and devil-may-care attitude. Anarchy in the UK. 🏴‍☠️

Never thought that with 18mm lugs, I'd have so many options for my vintage Constellation. Thankfully, I have several Stowa watches with 18mm lugs so I've managed to swap straps and/or bracelets along the way. Here's a collage of some pairings I've tried thus far....

Right, then here are the options for the grande reverso gmt non-chronograph pushers gentleman’s sports horological machine.

The tan canvas is the daily wear, primarily for Baja rally racing.

The navy canvas is the formal evening black tie tails ascot dickie wear.

And the no name stainless mesh is the shark cage diver extreme sports option.

The canvas are what I like and the canvas are what we will stick to until further notice. Here they are showing as much leather as possible if that helps.

Kind regards,
