Good thread. I’ll say my one of three rules is the strap should never be the focus of the watch. If it is, it’s not complimenting the watch. Second, exotic skins still need to look good and wear well. Third, a strap should always be a bit longer and never shorter. Too many are too short and don’t have a proper keeper.
I wear mine on a dark brown alligator strap, and I find it pairs perfectly with a polo shirt.
When it comes to polo shirts, the best choice is not to wear one of the bloody awful things…..unless of course you’re playing polo.

The word "polo" is never mentioned. We call them golf shirts.
