A pretentious, snobby, old fashioned guide to choosing a strap

Wow! I think you found the perfect strap for the red Speedy. The color, shape, thickness, and profile (chef's kiss). Where is it from?

Thanks,
It’s a prototype strap that we made for the coming Speedy Tuesday event in Tokyo 😀
It’s a thick strap but suits the Speedy quite well 😀

Been playing around with different prototypes 😀

You're putting me in a tough place here. Alligator is not for chronographs, but I have to admit, you're on to something. It's the ridges that take it out of the dress strap realm and make it sporty enough for a chronograph. Ridged straps like this are found on Breitlings typically, but with the bold color match it looks good on this Omega. All-in-all I'd say this is successful bending of the rules. Consider yourself lucky and stick to the rules next time.
Grade: A

Appreciate the high Grade 😀
I think I might not be as lucky this time but here is another Croco for my Wife’s Speedy.
Dark Green Crocodile for a diamond encrusted, MoP dial Speedy.

Ah good I need your help. I have the bracelet for this railmaster but it’s screwed together and omega uses locktite or whatever so it’s a task sizing the damn thing. I picked up this strap so at least I could wear it but I’m not loving it. I’m curious what grade I might get

If it matters Waltesefalcon, I'm here and I think both watch and strap make for an award winning combination.

I particularly like those numeral markers on that Hamilton dial.

I'd own it! I'd wear it! Just like that!

Looks really good. The strap seems long - what’s the length of it?

So will I not be able to recieve a lashing like so many before me? Acceptable?

I think brown leather looks great on that gold watch.

Here's one for consideration: my 1947 Hamilton 'Donald' on a light tan alligator strap.
That’s a stunner. I have a pile of Hamilton PWs but under appreciate the wristwatches. Beauty!!

2nd GS 43999 on black lizard
I just added a cognac colored genuine alligator strap for my 1947 Omega bumper and think it nicely compliments the dial patina. JB
