A homage watch and a leather strap which isn't brown - forgive me for I have sinned!

Ok, so you've got a counterfeit Breitling co-pilot AVI here. That's a pilot's watch (or rather a knock-off of a pilot's watch). The strap you've got is a rally strap, which is more of an auto racing strap, and would be more-suited for a Heuer or a Speedmaster. You're not too far off, since pilot's watches do go on sporty leather, but I would have gone with something with ridges or white stitching rather than rally holes.
Grade: F- for wearing a knock-off

(I was too busy oogling that absolutely gorgeous vintage Vacheron to notice what a horrible strap you put on that breathtakingly beautiful vintage Cartier)

Took awhile but I think I found the perfect strap for this 18k yellow gold Hamilton.

I really like that combination.

Thanks. Gold can be hard for me to match. Always a little off. This clicked.

My plain Jane boring Eterna-matic 1000 is back, this time on a 60s JB Champion bracelet.

This is a strap thread, so I'm not going to grade your bracelet, but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that the curve of the end pieces doesn't match the curve of the case.

It's too small for the lugs!

Never liked nato straps. I am beginning to change my mind.

You're tough!

Not really, buying a strap that's the right size is about as basic as it gets. Would you wear pants that are too small?

That Certina looks pretty good. That's a single pass strap, is it not? I always like those better than a proper NATO. I really think it would look better without the gold stripe, but at least you matched the colors properly.
I don't like that 6309 on a NATO. It just looks so good on a USGL831 that I can't appreciate that watch on anything else.
The Boldr is well matched, but I think it's too ostentatious. We get it, you want people to notice your watch and its distinct color scheme, but you're trying too hard. I would think a matte gray silicone strap would highlight the distinctiveness of the watch, without overdoing it.

That's interesting the boldr comes on a matt grey silicone, I just can't get on with it, it's uncomfortable.
I've tried all sorts on the 6309 I have it's original rubber, and a nice horween leather, but thought a nato would be a nice change.
