I fully agree with @Spacefruit that the movement serial # is uncommon.
Apparently, he had quite a few watches in his collection ("Most were sh*t watches" according to him). So it is also possible that this certificate could belong to another Omega watch he might have had.
The caseback is pretty schmutz'ed up and seized pretty tight so I did not want to attempt forcing it open and chose to avoid the risk of damaging it.
I guess it will be a few more days of anticipation before I'll know for sure what is the exact reference and serial number.

路路Oooo subtitles!The serial being typed on a Chronometer cert basically proves it鈥檚 not the one on that movement and in any case looks too early for that watch but there is a good chance when the back comes off a nice original movement with a correct 17.5 -19m serial is inside. A finger in the air guess based on the bezel, dial and hands, 2998-4.
