·The paper is incorrect as it says it's for a chonometre watch. So can't be for a Speedy.

I didn’t feel safe on this watch - can’t see the lume cant check the hands for transverse curve and generally smelly.
However someone may have a total bargain !

·It's possible that the Chronometre Cert has been added to this watch by mistake at the time of sale, or at any other time. (I've seen this happen quite a few times, even with modern pieces).
Regardless of the paperwork (manual is original), the watch appears to be in very nice shape and pretty consistent with what I like to see in an untouched "Drawer find" watch. Schmutz and all.
The seller is also 3 miles away from me. I'll update once I have it in hand. 😉
*I paid already, so all you "After sale" sharks... Hands off!

·Just had a quick phone conversation with the seller's wife. Her husband's father was the original owner.
They will be coming over to my house later on tonight to deliver the watch.

Good for you to take a risk on it. I didn't have enough confidence in my knowledge of this reference.
