·Just amazing. Who would have thought it possible that the Brothers Davidoff could purchase an eBay 2998-2 and in a few weeks, reunite the Speedie with it's "original" bezel. Will wonders never cease?

·I think it's a little dangerous to read too much into one photo of any watch - that could easily be an outdoor photo with a passing cloud.
All the photos of this watch have shown the same discoloration, so the passing cloud isn’t the reason this time.

Different camera angles, on different dials (with slightly different lume length perhaps) can deceiving, especially since the hand length difference is very small.
FYI, MWO version 2 is a bit more informative and also list 2 versions
B1) Long Hours 10.8mm
B3) 10.0 mm
