Wish we could have gotten inside pics, but I think we can presume a good back and movement. So the lollipop added some thousands and the bezel removed fewer of those thousands. And presumably there were some thousands negotiated down.

But wow. That's up there with the Antiquorum 2998-2.

This is a very nice example , stop being so envious and think you're the only one.

Please feel free to purchase the watch then if it is so very nice. And I don't think I would be envious of this one.

The rehaut is not the correct one but this is a minor thing.
For me as well the wrong bezel would be an issue if the price is high.
I feel like everybody knows the price ... beside me?! 😒😎

In an earlier post a price of $24,000 was mentioned.

Oops, I missed that, thank you. Damn, that IS expensiv !

I have two -1's and one -2 and all with base 1000 but non with the lolipop 🙁 This second hand looks lovely and better than with the regular hand but I would feel guilty give an extra 10k USD for one hand with a regular retail worth of 20 USD 😁

I figured the bezel issue would be a big deal for you with your username and all...

hehe, well, I am not exactly the fetish guy but these speedmasters wearing that bezel are actually the most fency ones.
In my life I have sold one base 1000 bezel which was maybe in the best shape of all that I own (Rolex fans would have called it a ghost-base1000-bezel). I regret it even now after many years that I let that one go ...

Was it just the bezel you sold or a watch with that bezel?

the second, it was a beautiful 2998 with that bezel. Actually I did not sell it but exchange it for a 2915 but I should have bought the 2915 and keep the 2998 too :whipped:
This bezel had such a silver shade that one could think from some angles it is a metallic 2915 bezel. It was just stunning 🤦

Not the best move but not a bad one either. Maybe you can tell yourself that the seller would have given up the 2915 only with the trade for the 2998 and not a straight sale!

well in those days I was not able the fund the whole amount asked for that 2915 but it was ways cheaper than now this 2998 we talk about here.
Actually the more requested those watches become the more serious collectors try to get an exchange with something special rather than getting money. Especially with rare parts I noticed this for a while. How is your experience?

Similar to that - nice pieces let go only in exchange for other nice pieces with cash going either way depending on the agreed on values. That being said, this is much more talked about than actually executed - I personally have participated in maybe 5 trades in the past 7 years.
