路Anyone know which eBay sale they got the bezel from?
The bezel has faded almost completely, a so-called ghost bezel, over time, but is still legible and clearly the original one.

Just amazing. Who would have thought it possible that the Brothers Davidoff could purchase an eBay 2998-2 and in a few weeks, reunite the Speedie with it's "original" bezel. Will wonders never cease?

路I thought 2998's ended with -5 and then -62. I don't recall ever seeing a -6.

路I just realized the -2 is now offered on a leather strap instead of the bracelet it had on ebay (end links do not look like #6). Was that "JM" stamped bracelet legit? Should we expect to see it on another piece or sold individually?
