what's with the bubbling oil coming out of the subdial hr register...
Am sure that this is merely the residue that has run down from the dial and collected there.
I have noticed this phenomena when my girlfriend 'over' applies self tanning bronzer to herself. At the central parts at the palm of her hands I see a similar effect.
It should just rub off using a make-up remover wipe.📖

You know when you're baking a pork roast in the oven, and the crackling comes up best where the oil and salt is?

Actually the term "Base 500" is incorrect.
All these bezels are Base 1000 technically as they are based on timing 1000 events (in most cases 1km = 1000m) and then showing how many thousands units per hour this measurement translates to.

The hour hand looks long. Is that a 2915-3 hand?

It's the old Asian sales technique. If it doesn't sell the first time ask more for it the second time.

I'm no expert, but I think they look like the type B2 hands or Alpha - Variant 2 from references 2998-1 to -4. But I could certainly be wrong.

Most Panera owners believe in this approach...it is hilarious to watch.

@gemini4 regarding the lume - do you mean that the hour hand looks relumed or the whole thing? Just trying to get an education. The hour and minute hands look quite different with respect to clean edges around the lume plot - is that what you're getting at?

I think the minute, hour and lollipop chrono hands were relumed. Their lume is uniform and in much better condition than the dial plots. Of course, this photo appears to have a brown tint to it from the seller attempting to make the dial appear tropical. That will have bearing on the lume color as well, which seems off. Lollipop lume ends are generally more red, I believe. Lots of inconsistencies regarding this high priced watch.

Hmm… I think bezel is not original from the watch. Bezel should be "tachymetre base 1000" in black.
