It's as if someone took a real dislike to wanting to have Base 1000 on their Bezel. Shame....I would have liked to see it::facepalm1::

This was listed on eBay a while back and then pulled. Wrong seconds hand. Hour sub hand looks chewed up. Hour hand is more correct for a 2915-3.

ageing. some say a defect. there are divided opinions on whether they're nicer or not. I do like the leathery looking ones, wish I had one...
it also because of the paint quality, it could affect different dial for different brand related to a production year

And now... Another lollipop on the bay - 2998-2: https://www.ebay.com/itm/162096652901

I've communicated with seller previously regarding setting up a face to face viewing of a JLC he was selling several months ago, and he wouldn't have any part of it! Quite rude actually, and now he has this piece he'd like to sell . . .馃槻

They have a brick store and wouldn't allow you to go to the store to see it?

that lollipop hand looks not like a speedmaster lollipop hand to me. I`d need a pics. straight from above to see, what parts of the omega sign it actually covers. looks too small to me at this state..... kind regards. achim

bubbling on the subdial? hmmm......, I`ve seen a few Rolex dials with attempts to change the colour through heat. same bubbling, if you are not very careful, what you do with the temperature. kind regards. achim

Here's the repost of the same watch! Should be interesting the second time around

Well at least they fixed the bezel alignment. The seller tried to explain the incorrect bezel, but they haven't explained the bubbling still at the hour subdial 馃嵖馃嵖

they also got rid of the pics with the hour and minute subdial hands off the 12. it looked to me like there were 'stains' on the dial from the hands being in the same place for a long time, kind of like radium burns..

After watching this one finish today, I compared notes:

It was pulled twice in April described with:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/162042334034?rmvSB=true
-The watch is running.
-From what I can see, the lever that returns the hands to zero is missing so you cannot activate the chronograph. The inner dust cover is also missing.
-Serial number 17,761,277.

looking like:

Then today, described with:

-The watch is running and keeping proper time. I don't know when it was last serviced.
-All the chronograph functions work properly.
-Serial number 17,761,277 dating the watch to 1960, pre-moon landing.

looking like:

With dust cover. Relumed. Chrono now working. Yet last service unknown.
