··Spam RiskEarly morning races are the absolute best. Done by 7 and still have the whole day. Any later in the day and that leads to excessive pacing and anxiety. Ruins the entire day.

·Timezone. Not in an ideal timezone for Europe or the Americas. At least the Asian GP's or still played at a tolerable hour for Europe. Australia is horrible for everyone except Asia.

·You learn to live with it and adapt. Australians struggle with every race that's not in Asia, but we either go to bed late, get up early or watch it later. The only problem with watching it later is that we have to avoid the news until we can, especially when there's an Australian competing at the front.

The McLarens don’t look as mighty…so far. Either they’re still chasing set up or both Lando and Oscar were overdriving.
Lawson is going to be swapping seats with Tsunoda before long if he can’t on top of the Red Bull. Though I’m not a big Max fan it is impressive that he can find time in a car that his teammates struggle with.

I used to think so as well, but many from within the team (including Adrian Newey when he was still there) insist that is not the case. Rather, Max has been able to adapt and make the most out of the package that the designers and engineers have produced.
It could be that this package naturally suits Max better than Checo and Lawson, but it is supposedly not ideal for him either.

·It won't be long until Horner and Co. start thinking about bringing Tsunoda up, which may have been the right strategy from the beginning. Lawson has been totally unimpressive in one race, a Sprint race and two quallys. Meanwhile Norris and Piastri are both producing for McLaren, and Ferrari and Mercedes show promise. You can't win a Constructor's title with only one driver.

·I've heard through a semi-reliable source that it's all about the money. Lawson brings in quite a bit more than Tsunoda. This was a big reason Checko was able to hang on so long.

·Awesome to see Hamilton get pole and win a sprint. Bodes well for the chance of a grand prix victory with Ferrari at some point. Still not optimistic of a championship win but hey, it's early days. At the very least, Hamilton has already shut down a lot of detractors who claimed he was washed and Leclerc would crush him.
As for Lawson, hate to say I told you so, but... he was always the wrong driver to promote. That said, even I didn't think he'd do this badly. It will be interesting if they do promote Tsunoda if he performs as badly. If he does, I think the only conclusion is that it's the car. Perhaps we judged Checo too harshly.
By the way, anyone notice the timing has been quite buggy so far this year? I've seen it stop displaying times, freeze or lag quite a few times. They even rebooted it during the sprint qualifying as it froze, completely disappeared and then came back without times and very laggy until it loaded the times back in. I know it's got nothing to do with Tag Heuer but if I were them I'd be a bit miffed, their logos are plastered on some of the timing screens.

I know, I did mention that in my reply haha. But I would assume they have nothing to do with live timing, they slap their logo on it as a sponsorship and then just design the pit lane clock and call it a day.
Actually, I thought I'd hate the pit lane clock before the season but I don't mind it actually. It even has a seconds hand, now that's the kind of innovation you expect in Formula 1. That must be why Rolex lost the contract, they could only ever deliver minutes and hours.
