My money is on Red Bull winning every race.
Not every race, Ferrari and maybe McLaren might eke out a win or two, but that's it.

I'll settle for, at the very least, a respectable challenger...

I hope not but it's difficult to see where the realistic challenge will come from. And it's not like the FIA are in disarray or anything so I'm sure they could bring in some judicious rule changes to liven things up...

I don't think Max can top his 2023 season but I do expect him to win the championship in 2024. Red Bull should also repeat as the Constructors Champions although it will be a bit closer this year.

I hope to see Lando finally get the monkey off of his back and win a few races.

I think it was time for Guenther to go from Haas, signing Magnussen and Hulk and then coming last in the constructors was an absolute disaster for Haas. They had two drivers that should be able to snag a point or two here and there if the car is even remotely good. That Haas eats tyres like crazy! It will be interesting to see if they know why and managed to fix it for this years car. Over one lap the Haas is not the worst car on the grid.

Here is hoping that McLaren can snag a win this year, I am a little worried that Mercedes and Ferrari will make up more ground given then have had a year to work with their issues (Merc with the sidepods, Ferrari eating tyres).

Will also be interesting to see how Checo performs in the last year of his contract

If iamnot mistaken, that exactly what the FIA did with Mercedes ( not talking about the famous last race).

Yeah, that was the point I was trying to make, albeit sarcastically. Historically, with this sort of dominance, the FIA would look to bring in some urgent rule changes to try and shake things up. But the fact that their incompetent leader keeps losing highly regarded people who might help with that (he seems to be more bothered about launching knee jerk investigations based on vicious rumour and then quickly back tracking), and, I suspect, the limitations of the cost cap, mean it's highly unlikely they're going to do anything about it.

Which, to my mind, only points to more red bull dominance. Which is a shame for the sport but it's not that unusual. It was Merc before that, and red bull again before that, and Williams and mclaren before that...

I agree with you. The lastest investigation was a joke.
IMHO, the ' spirit' of Formula one which was races and competitions. Now they have turned it into a US show. They are willing to sacrify historical race like Monaco in order to promote Las Vegas.

How did they sacrifice Monaco? Still on the calendar, as hyped as ever, no?

Not sure I watched the same Vegas race as you, but beyond some first-race growing pains (quite embarrassing in some cases), it seemed like a huge success to me! Not a typical street circuit, incredibly high number of overtakes! It's a great track to drive on PS5 F1 2023...

I get that Europeans are concerned that their beloved motor racing is being influenced heavily by the US market, but don't forget the US has a population of ~340M... greater than Germany (83M), UK (68M), France (65M), Italy (59M) and Spain (48M) combined (at ~322M). So 3 races for 340M doesn't seem unreasonable, especially as it's such a high GDP nation.

If North America is considered, then adding Mexico (128M) and Canada (39M) brings it to 5 races for ~507M. North Americans aren't currently as devoted to F1 as Europeans (by numbers at least), but that means a huge growth potential. Growth and change can be painful, but also exciting!
