I would be delighted to see Seb back behind the wheel.
Yes that would be great. Now the question would be which team?

Any team picking up a veteran is just delaying the inevitable. They may as well give these young go-getters a try and see what sticks.

I didn't mean back in F1. Though I wouldn't be mad at it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Seb drive at Le Mans or run a limited WEC or IMSA program.

Explain to me again why Ferrari is dropping Carlos for Hamilton? Money talks?

To me it makes little sense, Hamilton is an aging star driver who has lost his edge, kind of like Tiger Woods. It happens, you can't cheat age. Lewis should drive off into the sunset and do his foundation work, or whatever he wants to do. There would even be opportunities within F1. But taking over Sainz's seat, counterproductive. Vettel failed at the effort, and he was 10 years younger than Hamilton. For Lewis it's all about the money, and every driver has that itch to drive for Ferrari. But I'm not sure what Ferrari expects to get out of it. A championship or two? I don't see it happening with Hamilton.

There are some very out there conspiracy theories from Hamilton devotees at this point saying Toto is deliberately sabotaging the car to make George look better and that it’s all some giant plan. If he’s actually just losing his speed a little and goes to Ferrari with similar performance it’s going to be interesting watching the British and Italian fans and media tear each other apart.

Quali is not everything race pace and consistency are key. Both Lewis and Alonso are consistency monsters and easy on tires.

there is also things we are not seeing. Ever wonder how they knew Russel was an amazing driver when he was in the worst car?

We don’t see the race metrics.

I've always been a fan of Williams due to their heritage.

That just ended. No back up chasis? Ask the guy who didn't destroy his car to give up his seat?

Volwes should be shown the door. What a disgrace.

Sorry, had vent...

No budget. Not Volwes fault.

Karma strikes again.

Lewis out with engine failure. I blame myself as I was gloating.

Once again, nutcases abusing the team and claiming Toto sabotaged Lewis’ engine, as if he actually wants to be lower in the constructors and embarrassing himself or the brand. Its just such a toxic fandom at this point.

Wacky conspiracy theories have always been with us but have been easier to propagate in the internet age. Whether it's F1, health of famous people, elections, sports in general or even the availability of certain watch brands/models, nutty theories emerge and can become bigger than life. That's oxygen for a lot of poor souls with nothing better to do.

Not entirely convinced George Russell can keep his concentration for a race distance.
