Was happy to pick up this 2505-20 for $330 earlier this year. That was also the watch that kicked off my Omega obsession... so in the long run probably not a good deal at all
Yes the case finishing is original, and it is the 38mm SKX013, on my 6.3' wrist. I think the finishing on 013 is better than the 007, in that: 1. the shape of the case and lugs have a better proportion, and 2. The nice polished chamfer edge between the upper and side surfaces that is not seen on the 007. I got the watch running -20s/day, so I opened the caseback and regulated it myself to +3s/day. Scratched the caseback when doing it... but no bad feelings at all! People actually shake it in a bag of sand to put on "patina" to it... Overall, incredible amount of watch for the money, and I'm as happy with this purchase as with any of my luxury pieces.
San Martin "Tiger Shark" dive watch. Got it on eBay but you can see it here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1000006977466.html
The coolest sub $100 watch out there. Some cool history and Russian ingenuity. Picked up this Vostok Amphibia for $60 new.
watch built by me, sourced the parts (movement, case, hands) from a variety of vendors. ETA-6497-1 movement. All in I'm around $400. Yes, I understand the strap is not technically correct for the style, will rectify that somewhere in the future
